Piret Luik

Piret Luik

Piret Luik is elected to the position of Associate. Prof of educational technology at University of Tartu, Estonia. She has expertise in educational technology (including learning environments, educational software, social media, internet risks) and research methods in education. She has experience to teach computers and mathematics in comprehensive school for 7 years. She has been one of the key trainers in initial teacher education system for last 11 years. She is reviewer of the international journals Computers & Education, British Journal of Educational Technology, one of the conveinors of ECER conference and is one of the editors of series of Peter Lang Verlag Publisching House named Estonian Studies in Education. She is a expert of Tiger Leap Foundation, member of EARLI, EERA, AARE, COST ACTION IS0801 Cyberbullying. She has experience of supervising thesis in all three levels. At corrent time she has 8 doctoral thesis to supervise and she has been consultant of one defended doctoral thesis. She is the author of more than 75 scientific publications.
